Barton-Cotton Expands at 3000 Waterview Avenue
Barton-Cotton, a direct-mail marketing and printing company, has leased an additional 40,000 square feet of space with Continental Realty Corporation at its 3000 Waterview Avenue project in the Westport section of Baltimore City. The new requirement complements and supports the existing 210,000 square foot lease within the 345,000 square foot project that is primarily utilized for manufacturing and warehousing operations. Barton-Cotton consolidated and moved its business to downtown Baltimore last spring from its former Halethorpe location. According to Barton-Cotton, the Waterview Avenue building offered a significant facilities upgrade from the company’s space which was spread out among three different buildings, as well as a cost savings from an operational perspective. The project’s proximity to major highways include MD 295, Interstate 95 and a Light Rail Station, the company indicated, is a key element to attract retail-qualified employees as well as for transportation logistics operations.
