Boost Mobile, Jimmy John’s And Papa Murphy’s Sign Leases Totaling Nearly 5,000 Square Feet At Banks Crossing In Fayetteville

BALTIMORE, MD (November 18, 2024) – Mobile carrier Boost Mobile, sandwich shop Jimmy John’s, and pizza franchise group Papa Murphy’s have signed leases with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) totaling nearly 5,000 square feet of space at Banks Crossing, a 255,000 square foot regional shopping center located at 100-240 Banks Crossing North in the Fayetteville section of Fayette County, Georgia. CRC, a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company purchased the center, anchored by Kroger and JCPenney, in 2022. Banks Crossing is now 95 percent occupied.

Boost Mobile, the nation’s newest nationwide mobile carrier in the United States trading under EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS), leased 1200 square feet of space. The store, which is owned by Rabindra Mahato Koiri, markets a full line of mobile phones including the Apple, Boost, Motorola, and Samsung brands, as well as wireless carrier plans.  

Southworth’s Pizza Corporation, owned by Lonnie Southworth, is the franchise owner of Papa Murphy’s which leased 1800 square feet of space at Banks Crossing. The company and its franchisees operate more than 1,300 outlets in the United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. At Papa Murphy’s, pizzas are assembled to customers’ exact specifications with raw dough and fresh ingredients and then wrapped for the buyer to complete the cooking process at home. 

Sandwich franchise Jimmy John’s, owned by local franchisee William Clay of Clay Industries Corp. leased 1600 square feet of space at the center. Jimmy John’s, which has over 2,600 locations in 43 states was represented by Franklin Street Real Estate Services while Michael Arkin with Skyline Seven represented the landlord in this lease transaction.

Banks Crossing is situated on approximately 23 acres near the intersection of GA Routes 85 and 314. The shopping center features 29 tenant spaces, several national users such as Kroger, JC Penney, Sally Beauty, Guitar Center and Planet Fitness. Major retailers located in the immediate area include Lowe’s Home Improvement, Walmart, The Home Depot, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Publix, Burlington, Target, and Marshall’s.

The property is located directly off Highway 85 with multiple access points, and more than 53,000 vehicles pass the site each day. Banks Crossing is situated approximately 20 miles from the greater Atlanta area. More than 67,000 consumers, with an average household income exceeding $72,000, reside within a three-mile radius of Banks Crossing.
