CRC Completes First Phase of Renovation Program at Courthouse Square Apartments

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a full-service commercial real estate investment and property management company, has completed the first phase of a multi-year program designed to renovate and improve Courthouse Square Apartments, a 526-unit apartment community located at 1112 Ivywood Lane in the Towson area of Baltimore County. The strategy focuses on the replacement and upgrade of various interior elements of the community’s one, two and three-bedroom apartment homes, as well as the renovation of all on-site community amenities such as the clubhouse, fitness center, swimming areas and tennis courts. The long-term effort is expected to take up to five years to complete.

Fifty-five units have been renovated since the program began in late 2014, at an estimated cost exceeding $900,000. Work is on-going with forty-four additional units scheduled for renovation in 2016, while 160 units are scheduled to receive new washer and dryers next year.

In addition, all improvements were completed to the interior and exterior of the clubhouse including a new conference room with a large-screen television, a community room, and a refreshment center. The Courthouse Square tennis courts were re-surfaced and the swimming pool area was also upgraded.
